Ok, it has been exactly 1 year ago, at this very moment, Singapore had crowned its 3rd Singapore Idol Sezairi Sezali. Kinda expected it although im rooting for Sylvia. I could not forget how fanatic i was towards Singapore idol and i think i wasted like almost a 100 bucks for the voting. I still owe my parents some of it. Haha. I was super crazy and really wanting to go to the Singapore Indoor Stadium to watch it live with my friends. I listen to radio from 8pm-2.30 am and woke up early in the morning at 5 am till 10 am for two weeks. Muttons to Midnight, Late Night Delight and the Dan and Yang show at 98.7 fm. I look super crazy as i slept in my study room for two weeks as whenever they feel like giving out the tickets, i would put all my phones on the table, and use my telephone to call them. I had a hard time and whenever i didnt get to be on air, i will shout in my room and scream as hard as i want as its my life to get there to the finals. I didnt sleep well, eye bags are getting more heavier, dark eye circles became darker and i'm like a person who is mentally ill that time. I kept asking my friends to help me and sometimes i irritate them i guess coz i force them to listen to the radio. I get impatient really easily as i would shout at my brother for not calling properly but its seriously not his fault. I went to the last roadshow in west mall and tried my best to raise up my hands to do the challenge with the idols or something. And u will recieve 4 tickets. I screamed, jumped and cried as i didnt get the tickets and i think i look super crazy as i feel like die-ing. When the roadshow finished, i walked around west mall with disbelievement that i didnt get the tickets. I cried on my way home in the train. I think my hair dropped more and more each day. I felt so dizzy but Oh heck care. My whole family knew that im die-ing to get those tickets until one faithful day, 3 days before the finals, my father just got back from work and told me that he got a surprise for me. I felt so stupid as i thought he brought me home a cat or something. Then he showed me two tickets to SINGAPORE IDOL GRAND FINALE LIVE!!! It took me like 2 seconds to understand what was he giving me. LOLS. One day after, i heard they gave away free tickets at Mediacorp and i was like #%^^&*((^%#$!!!!! If not i can have 6 tix already. And not to forget, i entered several contests to win the idol tickets. When i got to know they give away the tickets, i cry like hell for 30 mins straight until my nose is super blocked and i feel like i cannot breathe forever. I blamed my mother for not letting me use the internet the day before as i could have known about the free tix give away. On the 27th December itself, after thinking long and hard about who to pick to follow me to watch the show, i thought of bringing a lucky friend but i think its unfair because i love all my friends equally. And i recalled back that my family members are the one who really helped me to get those tickets especially my youngest brother and so, i chose him. Last min, my mom slow talk with me as she also want to go. HAHAHA. Then my youngest brother give in and i went there with my mom. Yeah. I was super nervous as this day marks my first day meeting my most favourite idol, HADY MIRZA!!!!! I teared when i saw him singing "Angkasa" from his latest album as i could not believe my eyes that he is singing for me. WTH. Hahahaha. Anyway, i super enjoy that day especially when i had craved to go there for sooo long. I think my family is the only one rooting for Sylvia Ratonel as my relatives are all rooting for Sezairi Sezali. When he won, i called my aunt and she was like,... yeah i know he won. And i was like SHUT UP. lols. Then i say, u noe where i am? I'm on my way home from Singapore Indoor Stadium. She was happy for me that i finally went there as she knew about my problems. There was once i was alone at home and she came in with her family.. i didnt bother about them at all as i just listen to the radio at the study room, getting ready to call. There was once i was almost on air, hahaha. Got the chance to talk to Desiree Lai but i talked super crap. ahahah. Luckily wasnt on air. AND AND, Mr Yang said hello to me but i just shut the phone down. Hahaha. Back to story, My aunt said she had 4 tickets but she gave to her friends as she dunwan to go. U wont believe me how angry i was feeling. All the vulgur languages are in my mind at that point of time.
